Privacy notice

1. Data controller

BOOSTR (“BOOSTR”, “we”), operator of the site boostr.mx, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. You can reach us at info@boostr.mx.

2. Data we collect

• Identification and contact details: name, email address, phone number.
• Shipping address, so we can deliver your order.
• If you buy a configured card: your business's name and location, so we can link it to your Google profile.
• Your account details (if you register): email, password (stored encrypted) and, if you are a Partner, the sales you log and the evidence you upload for approval.
• Basic browsing data from the site, for statistical purposes (see section 6).

We do not collect or store your payment card details — payment is processed directly on Stripe's servers.

3. What we use your data for

• To process and ship your order, and to keep you posted on its status.
• To create and manage your account, including your access to the BOOSTR Partners program.
• To answer your questions by email or WhatsApp.
• To meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Who we share your data with

We share your data only with the providers we need to operate: Stripe (payments), couriers (to deliver your order), Supabase (secure storage of your account) and Meta (measurement of our advertising; see section 6). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. ARCO rights

You may request to Access, Rectify or Cancel your personal data, or Oppose its processing (ARCO rights), and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@boostr.mx from the email tied to your account or your order. We'll answer your request within a reasonable time.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use our own basic analytics (pages visited, time of visit) to understand overall use of the site. We do not use it to identify you individually.

We also use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure which of our ads lead to a purchase, and to show BOOSTR advertising to people with interests similar to yours. That pixel shares with Meta the pages you visit on boostr.mx and actions such as starting or completing a payment. Meta processes that data under its own policies, as an independent controller.

You can opt out: from the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account, with your browser's tracker blocker, or with Apple's App Tracking Transparency on iPhone. Blocking it does not affect your purchase or your account.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration or unauthorized access. No system is 100% foolproof, but we work with providers (Stripe, Supabase) that meet industry security standards.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice at any time; the date at the top of this page shows the last update. If the change is significant, we will try to let you know by email.
